You wrote that one should attend church, because that is where Christ is? My friend Christ is EVERYWHERE He is with you no matter where you are at; at home, driving, with friends, by yourself, in prison, etc; We each have our own relationship with Christ ( those who choose to) but I must agree with the gentleman who wrote you that asked you about if he should attend church or not. Church is a place of worship, disclaims, learning, etc; . but it is not a necessity to enter the kingdom of God. I myself do not attend church, I believe in Christ and pray to Him multiple times daily for forgiveness and protection, and guidance. The church in whole is filled with more hypocrites now then ever before, it no longer relies on the prayers of God, it's more about how much "money" can be given. Did Jesus not say if you need something all you got to do is ask him for it and it will be given?

I have never said that Christ is only in the assembly of the saints. It does appear from his own words that he is with the saints in a special way when they are assembled together. That was the point I made in that answer. If Jesus is with his people when two or more are gathered together, then to avoid the assembly is avoiding family, including whatever special benefit there is from Jesus being where his followers are gathered.
It is possible, and essential, to worship and pray apart from the assembly as well. But to do so you lose the benefits of fellowship and some of the power of prayer. If the “effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16), then the combined prayers of God’s people avail much more.
Church is not, nor have I ever said it was, a necessity to enter the kingdom of God. Since the church is the kingdom of God (please see What Does the Bible Say About..The Kingdom? for the scriptures to support that statement), it cannot be a necessity for entry into itself. I disagree with you that church is a place of worship. Church is the people of God. God’s people are in the church, whether they assemble with it or not. “And the Lord added to the church daily such as were being saved.” (Acts 2:47)
I agree that there are hypocrites who claim to be in the church, and assemble with the church. Jesus himself said to let the weeds grow up with the crop, and the separation will be made at the end. (Matthe 13:24-30) I have often wondered why people have a problem with associating with hypocrites in a venue where their hypocrisy might be corrected, but have no trouble assembling with them at another event such as work or a sporting event. The “hypocrites in the church” argument is just a weak excuse for getting out of something that you don’t want to do.
If you attend, or have attended, a church that is all about the money they can collect, then you have met with a group that only claims to be God’s church without acting like the church should act. Collecting money from members is important, but amassing large amounts or having expensive buildings and preachers is not what the church should be about. The writer of Hebrews says assembling with the church is important, but not because of the contribution or political statements from the pulpit. It is important because that is where one can receive encouragement. “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25) He or she says that the primary purpose of assembling together should be provoking one another to love and good works and exhorting (encouraging, strengthening) one another. If that is not what churches you have attended are primarily doing, then you haven’t been to the church talked about in the New Testament.
