What Does the Bible Say About..Sin in Heaven?

Is there anything that will get us kicked out of heaven once we are there? Will there be any sin in heaven?

Answer

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” (2 Corinthians 5:10) Since Paul had previously (1 Corinthians 15) told these people that their bodies would be changed at the judgement, then he is clearly saying we will attain heaven based on what we do on this earth. Once in heaven, judgement (acquittal) will have already been pronounced.

This would seem to answer your second question as well. If we are judged on what we do in this life, and if God can not abide the presence of sin, then we will probably be unable or at least unwilling to sin in heaven. If we are judged on the things done in this body, then it appears that this body is the one that can sin; the new body will not sin. That is what Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15. If, then, we can not sin, we can not do anything that will, in your words, “get us kicked out of heaven.”
